IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT
PAYING YOUR TUITION AND FEES BILL
AT SIUC

SIUC recently converted to a new student information system called Banner.  The Banner system offers many improvements over the previous student information system. 

The first bill for the fall semester tuition and fees was mailed to students on July 28.  You can view your monthly Bursar activity in SalukiNet. We plan to offer e-billing in the future with optional parent/third party access to Bursar activity.

Please keep the following in mind when registering and paying your bill for the Fall 2009 semester.

• The University will not bill a service charge for unpaid Fall 2009 charges until the November 15th bill, which is due on December 10th.  Students have the flexibility to pay tuition and fees over four months without incurring a service charge.

• The University continues to offer an installment payment plan that will allow students to budget the fall semester tuition and fees payments over a four month time period. 

• The Bursar Office offers many convenient payment options, including the ability to pay online via a checking or savings account or debit or credit card.  For your convenience, you may sign up to have monthly payments automatically deducted.  You can also make a payment via the phone, mail or in person. 

• You will not be able to register for a future semester if your account is past due with a balance greater than $500 at the time of registration.
